To think that we started this team from scratch just a couple of months ago is difficult to believe and it’s a complete wonder that we’re going to be entering our first competition in less than two months! I’m surrounded by motivated, talented, excited and creative teenagers that drive this club forward, so I’m confident we’re going to put in a good showing at our first tournament.
We’re going to order some equipment that we need to update our robots for this year and sign up for the league/competitions, the cost of which is mostly covered. Today, we brainstormed ideas for other fundraising ideas just to create a “cushion” for things like transportation to events, food for the students and additional equipment.
The teams are so excited to succeed, you can feel the energy in here! We’ll keep you posted!
